    光纤耦合输出气体吸收池

    光纤耦合输出气体吸收池有这样几种类型:深紫外到中红外气体吸收池,单模吸收池,标准吸收池,独特的气体吸收池,气体吸收管。

    1、深紫外到中红外气体吸收池

    Wavelength引用的气体流动吸收池在深紫外到中红外光谱多模光纤耦合适合客户使用自己的气体样品与光纤耦合组件和工作。

    产品应用:

    2、标准气体吸收池

    Molecules have specific absorption lines dependent on the molecular energy level transitions particular to the species. For gases these lines are also particularly accurately known (subpicometer), narrow, and insensitive to environmental conditions. A gas cell is simply a tube filled with a gas or gas mixture of known chemical and isotopic purity and pressure and may be used as is or coupled to fiber optic cables. They have been widely researched as wavelength standards and are the basis of NIST SRMs 2514, 2515, 2517, 2517A, and 2519.

    Some examples of uses for gas cells include:

    Tunable laser calibration

    Sensing system calibration

    Reference for chemical detector or medical instrumentation

    Optical instrument calibration source (wavelength, dispersion, etc)

    Wavelength References is an industry leader in providing a full breadth of NIST traceable gas cells in a number of configurations. They can be ordered coupled to fiber optic cables, with built in detectors, or as a bare absorption tube. Special requests are welcomed. Species include acetylene, hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide, water, hydrogen fluoride, methane, hydrogen chloride, ammonia, and mixtures. These species can provide subpicometer accuracy over full Telcordia environmental specification. Custom faceplate material is available for extended operation in the infared to >4 microns. Other species may be available on request.

    Acetylene 12C2H2 The acetylene cells are the equivalent of the NIST SRM 2517 and 2517A Wavelength Calibration Reference for 1510nm-1540nm. We can offer a variety of pressures that can be used to tailor the absorption width to the application. These fiber coupled gas cells are the smallest (4.7cm by 1.4cm by 1 cm) and lowest cost offered by Wavelength References. As an example for ordering:

    C2H2-12-M-F-200-FCAPC

    This would be a fiber coupled carbon 12 acetylene gas cell with 200 Torr pressure and FC/APC connectors.

    Hydrogen Cyanide H13CN The hydrogen cyanide cell is the equivalent of the NIST SRM 2519, Wavelength Calibration Reference for 1530nm-1560nm. This device covers the entire C-band. As an example for ordering : HCN-13-C-100-FCAPC This would be a fiber coupled carbon 13 hydrogen cyanide gas cell at 100Torr pressure and with FC/APC connectors. We also offer a NEW “mini” HCN cell with a 5cm absorption path. This much smaller cell has a peak absorption level of 1.2 dB as compared with the 16.5cm path standard HCN cell 3.2 dB peak absorption level.

    Carbon Monoxide 12CO and 13CO Carbon monoxide covers the L-band with the carbon 12 isotope covering from 1560nm to 1595nm and the carbon 13 isotope from 1595nm to 1630nm. These devices are in our 80cm path multipass housing which offers a compact 5 pass design only a little larger then our HCN cell.

    3、气体吸收管

    Tubes are useful for free space optical applications, such as those that require wavelengths where optical fiber is not applicable. We have many gases available and can provide mixtures as well. For example, our customers often request a backfill of nitrogen to mimic atmospheric conditions.

    Specifications

    ■ Length: 2cm < L < 20cm (2cm, 5cm, 10cm standard)

    ■ Outer Diameter (OD): 12mm and 25mm standard; 5mm and 9mm also available

    ■ Tipoff: T < 10mm

    ■ Window Tilt: 3 degrees

    ■ Window Wedge: 0.3 degrees

    ■ Window material: B270 Crown Glass (<2.6 microns); MgF2 (<8 microns); ZnSe (<14 microns)

    Window Material

    < 2.6 microns: We supply wedged B270 Crown glass windows AR-coated for 600, 1330, 1550 or 1700nm. AR-coatings are provided at no extra charge.

    MgF2

    < 8 microns: We supply wedged MgF2 windows. These provide excellent transmission and are lower cost than our ZnSe windows. They are available for our 12mm and 25mm outer diameter tubing. Click on the thumbnail for the transmission spectrum (graciously supplied by Crystran Ltd)

    ZnSe

    < 14 microns: For applications past 8 microns, we use ZnSe windows. Click on the thumbnail for the transmission spectrum or visit Crystran.

In addition to the standard gas cells equivalent to those offered by NIST Wavelength References offers a variety of gas cells that greatly expand their application. If you have a custom application please do not hesitate to inquire, we welcome custom orders. Some examples of gas cells materials we have fabricated include methane, ammonia, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, carbon dioxide, water vapor, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen, argon, nitrogen dioxide, as well as the more standard acetylene, hydrogen cyanide, and carbon monoxide. Cells can be filled to any pressure lower then atmosphere and can be filled with either pure gases or mixtures.

    Bare glass absorption tubes can be fabricated with diameters from 3mm to 25mm and a length up to 20cm. All tubes use wedged windows broadband AR coated for the wavelength range of interest. Optical artifacts due to residual etalon effects are generally <0.01dB P-P.

    We can offer fiber coupled gas cells with several path lengths which are optimized for the absorption strength of the gas present. Path lengths from 3 cm to 80 cm are available.

    Some of the more popular unique gas cells we offer include:

    Dual gas C+L gas cell.

    This is fabricated in our 80 cm path housing and includes carbon 12 HCN combined with carbon 12 CO. This combination covers the wavelength range from 1520nm to 1590n

    Tri-gas C+L band gas cell. This cell is also fabricated in our 80 cm path housing and includes carbon 12 HCN, carbon 12 CO, and carbon 13 CO. This combination covers the wavelength range from 1520nm to 1640nm.

    Four gas S+C+L band gas cell. This cell incorporates four gases: water vapor, C12 carbon monoxide, C13 carbon monoxide, and acetylene to cover the wavelength range from 1330nm to 1640nm.

    HF 1300nm band gas cell. The HF cell is fabricated with hydrogen fluoride gas. This gas has very strong isolated gas lines from 1260nm to 1330nm. Due to the corrosive nature of hydrogen fluoride the cell is fabricated so the only copper, sapphire, and silver contact the gas. This cell is unique to Wavelength References and shows the high level of processing procedures available at our company.

    Water Cell The water cell is fabricated in our multipass housing and has numerous lines throughout the 1330-1480nm band as well as at other wavelengths. Some customers have successfully used this device for the 980nm region as well and the tube can be fabricated with windows optimized for this region.

    Copper envelope with wedged sapphire or selenide windows. This can be offered in various paths and clear aperture. This envelope is used for requirements with corrosive gases or far infrared performance.
